This is my first game since I got into the course a few weeks late, I didn't do the one button gamejam and i haven't ever made a game before that either (unless scratch somehow counts). It took me a few hours as a "last resort" kind of thing as our situations were a bit dire. Please enjoy my little shoot-em-up! :)

some of the group were unable to contribute much at the time so I did the coding, ideas, art, etc.

if i kept updating this, I would make the kill effects a lot more bloody because something relatively gruesome killing cute little clouds (with socks) would be a cool idea because of the contrast between the cuteness and the gore. I'd make the game have a WORKING scoreboard with high scores and enemies that spawned frequently (and the ability to die ofc). I'd also add a path to the enemies so they're actually a challenge as well.
